Additional Birth Supplies You May Need

Some additional supplies that may help; mattress protector cover, towels, drop cloth for next to the bed, garbage bags for soiled items or trash. You can gather items for comfort like a fan, or metal bowl to use cold compress. To prevent blood stains hydrogen peroxide is a favorite of midwives to remove blood, it’s not costly, and can be used straight from the bottle or added to the laundry.
Foods and drinks are important to have available. Electrolytes for during labor and after. Fresh fruit, and quick protein for after. It’s a good idea to have frozen meals prepped ahead of the birth.
